Much Marcle is a small village 2 miles from Orchard Ridge Bed & Breakfast.  Although small there is a great deal going on here.

Reputed to be the oldest house in England still lived in by the same family.  Hellens has a remarkable history with connections to the Magna Carta, King John and Bloody Mary Tudor.  Private tours of this wonderful old family home and its beautiful garden can be arranged.   Hellens Manor hosts classical music concerts (including the famous spring Music Festival) garden festivals and much more.

Much Marcle is the home of Westons Cider and this is where we at Orchard Ridge B&B send our organic cider apples to be turned into delicious organic cider!  Tours of the factory with tastings are very popular.  Westons also have a tea room and a very good restaurant.

Homme House is a beautiful stately home and host to the wonderul Homme House International Horse Trials held every summer in early August.  Spectators, Competitors and their horses are most welcome to stay at Orchard Ridge Bed & Breakfast being only 2 miles away.
